Infinite Verticies, a minimalistic shape shifting platformer made for the Ludum Dare 35, has you attempting to find your love at any cost – even if it means losing yourself.
You start this game as a decagon with plenty of sides to give up for your love. You see, the other shape that you love has gone missing. It is up to you to find her and bring her back. The only issue is, you only have a limited number of sides. Each time you jump, you lose a vertex – a side of your shape – so you become a new shape. Once you get down to a triangle, you are unable to jump again or else you will cease to exist all together.
There are many parts of this platformer where you must jump in order to continue on your quest. Each time you do so, your shape and name will change. You must decide if jumping is completely necessary, as it will bring you closer to death. The game will also talk to you as you progress, asking if love is worth it or telling you that you have enough sides left to make it. It is up to you if you want to continue on this quest of love, as it is transforming who you are. How far are you willing to go to find the one you love?
