Achilles: Legends Untold is a brutal Souls-like action RPG adventure that draws inspiration from Greek mythology and follows the story of Achilles as he sets out to defeat Phobos, the War God’s child.
Taking place during a multi-century spanning conflict between Hades and Ares, Achilles: Legends Untold is an isometric action RPG where you journey across mythical lands and attempt to slay Phobos – the son of Ares and Aphrodite. Playable in single-player or online co-op, the gameplay draws inspiration from clash hack ‘n slash dungeon crawlers and the Dark Souls series. It aims to deliver easily accessible combat with plenty of tactical depth.
As you fight your way through its Greek mythology based worlds you’ll learn new abilities, collect powerful artefacts and use weapons crafted by the legendary Hephaestus, god of blacksmiths. Those weapons will come in handy too as enemies utilise an innovative AI system that promises to make them less predictable and more challenging. Just be sure to protect your heels!
