Players can now sign up to Beta test Age of Empires IV, the latest installment of Xbox Game Studio’s popular historical real-time strategy series.
There have been a few remasters of classic Age of Empires games but it’s been quite a while since there’s been a new one. Step forward Age of Empires IV, an all new entry in the series which will see you taking command of influential historical leaders and guiding your empire through the ages.
Age of Empires IV will see you building your kingdoms, amassing armies and fighting in critical battles throughout history. Age of Empires IV will feature four full campaigns, each focusing on a different empire. You’ll build a Chinese dynasty, use war elephants as you build The Delhi Sultanate civilization, build massive stone castles as you command the English armies and use speed, strength and raw power as you command the Mongols.
