Airframe Ultra is an incredibly cool looking hoverbike racing game where Airframe racers wielding katanas race and fight their way through a vast megacity.
Currently in development by Akupara Games and Video Cult (creators of Rain World), Airframe Ultra is a very stylish battle-racer that looks like a 3D low poly blend of WipeOut and Road Rash with a touch of Akira. In the game you’ll race through tracks in the vast futuristic city of Megacity West.
Airframe Ultra will feature single-player and local/online multiplayer, and will see racers doing whatever it takes to win. This obviously includes racing at high speeds, but will also include attempting to batter enemies with pipes, chains and plasma torches.
From the crunchy low poly visuals, to the bike designs and the wanton violence, everything about Airframe Ultra just oozes cool.
UPDATE: A new playtest is due to take place on Monday, December 22nd at 9am. Sign up before 11:59pm PDT Thursday December 18th to get in!
