Albedon Wars features a fusion of roleplaying and card based strategic warfare as two ancient races fight for supremacy.
Playable in single-player or PvP multiplayer, Albedon Wars sees you navigating the world of Krenus, attempting to complete missions, exploring dungeons and conquering enemy territory for your faction. There are two separate factions (the Nontu and the Vertu), each with their own personal storyline and unique units and the world is split up into regions, cities and districts.
The combat is turn based and uses cards which you collect through play. The battlefields are divided into four zones, and depending on what zones you control you’ll earn points, cards or resources at the end of each round. Your choice of territory to attack is also an important factor, with it being especially effective to cut off your enemies supplies by taking control of their Keitustream stations. It’s not all combat though – Albedon Wars also features RPG dialogue mechanics, with multiple choices that can affect how the game plays out.
It’s an interesting looking game, with beautiful hand drawn artwork and promise of campaigns with plenty of strategic depth. Sign up for the Alpha to see if you can sway the war for your faction.
