Alien Marauder is a new real-time strategy game with some truly massive battles, with up to 100,000 units on-screen at the same time.
Taking place in the year 2672, Alien Marauder is an RTS where you set up and defend mining colonies on an alien planet. The minerals mined are to be exported back to Earth, but the Starship Trooper-esque alien bugs (called Vexan) native to the planet don’t take kindly to your mining activities and attack in massive swarms. You’ll need to upgrade your base and enhance your defenses to help keep them at bay.
There are a variety of different heroes you can choose to play as, each of which has different troops and buildings that suit different strategies. You may have the upper hand as far as technology goes, but the Vexan more than make up for it with numbers. They can attack in massive swarms, and with a game engine that can handle up to 100,000 on-screen units at a time, you’ll be able to see every single one of them.
