AXIS Urban Samsara is a brutal 2D action RPG Metroidvania set inside Babylon, a towering vertical megacity wrapped around a colossal mountain rising from the void between worlds.
In AXIS Urban Samsara you begin as a nameless figure carrying nothing but rage and a Spark, clawing upward through layers of the city that each represent a different state of consciousness twisted into streets, enemies, and impossible architecture. Combat rewards timing and positioning as you learn enemy patterns, defeat powerful bosses called Asuras, and tear their weapons for your own use.
You combine those weapons with Vajra Forms to create a build entirely your own, stacking mutations, amulets, implants, and runes. The story does not spell itself out but instead reveals itself through graffiti, echoes, and the words of your ironic guide Virgil as you climb ever higher.
