Battlefield 2042 is now in open Beta on Xbox, Playstation and PC, so everyone can join in the fight right now, with no pre-ordering necessary.
Previously only available to those who pre-ordered the game, the Battlefield 2042 Beta is now open to all and will run until Sunday October the 10th. The Beta features a new Specialist character system (instead of character classes) and allows players to play Conquest mode in the Orbital map. The PS5, Xbox X/S and PC versions of the game support up to 128 players in Conquest mode so expect some epic large scale battles.
It certainly looks and plays like a Battlefield game (though fans are divided about some of the changes), and there’s a real sense of scale to the battles. Jump in now to see how you fare on the battlefield.
