Bill Hates Videogames is a very funny parody of Zelda style fantasy adventures that follows a grumpy bald man who accidentally gets sucked into a strange video game world.
In Bill Hates Videogames you’lll embark on a delightfully silly misadventure in a cartoony video game world with a “boiling line” art style that draws inspiration from Home Movies and Ed, Edd, n Eddy. It follows the story of Bill, a grumpy bald man whose roommate’s Game Pyramid console mysteriously transports him into a Zelda-esque video game world. Bill has no time for video games, whimsy or adventure so he’s keen to get the hell out of there as soon as possible. That may be easier said than done though!
The demo build of Bill Hates Videogames follows Bill as he takes his first steps through the strange video game world. He’s more of a farter than a fighter, but he’s more than capable of solving the game’s cleverly designed puzzles (or pointing out when they’re not very well designed afterall!)
Bill may not enjoy his adventure, but you’ll have a ball exploring the world, solving puzzles, battling bosses and chatting to NPCs. He isn’t your regular heroic video game protagonist, so his take on the world and how he deals with obstructions on his road to freedom are a refreshing change from the likes of Link. This all makes for a very unique game where you’ll enjoy the adventure as much as Bill hates it. Highly recommended.
