Black Desert Online is finally coming to North America, Europe and Oceania with an English speaking Closed Beta, now available for all to sign up to.
As we previously mentioned during the Russian Open Beta, Black Desert Online is a hotly anticipated action high fantasy action MMORPG with Assassins Creed-style parkour and exciting combat with manual targeting, dodging and combos.
It’s an MMORPG that’s really worth getting excited about, with a highly detailed character creation system, fluid combat and gorgeous visuals. The English Speaking Beta will add a variety of improvements to previous versions, with more character creation options, new weather effects, balance changes and an altered level cap.
When it fully launches Black Desert Online will be buy to play in Europe and North America with no subscription fees (while remaining free to play in Russia, Japan and Korea). This is very good news as intrusive pay-to-win mechanics were one of the biggest problems with the free-to-play version. The Beta starts on Wednesday, December 16th (07:00 a.m. UTC) and finishes on Tuesday, December 22nd (07:00 a.m. UTC).
