BLASK is a stylish and very inventive laser refracting puzzle game where you don’t just move the lasers, you can move and manipulate the entire environment they’re housed in.
It’s currently early in development so there aren’t many details available about BLASK at the moment, but the GIF above demonstrates the core principles. You can slide the various building blocks around with ease, with them merging with each other to form a large single structure. The structures you create all have mirrored inner walls, refracting any laser beams that hit them accordingly.
Laser beam refraction puzzlers are nothing new, but the way you can manipulate the environment in BLASK certainly is. It’s a fantastic concept which should allow for some inventive puzzle design and allow players to take a free-form approach to solving them. BLASK looks like it’s going to be a blast.
