Boreal Blade is a team-based medieval melee fighting game that gives players a huge amount of freedom to dictate the type and direction of the attacks they use in combat.
Playable in four different team-based or free-for-all multiplayer game modes, in Boreal Blade you walk around much like a traditional third person action game, but the way you attack and defend is very different. You can hold the right mouse button then move the mouse to alter the direction your weapon is facing and the direction the swing will take. This allows for a lot of freedom during combat and allows you to avoid your opponent’s defenses and deliver a devastating blow.
There’s a lot more to the combat than just the RMB aiming and it will take some time to master. You’ll also be able to create your own character, customize their appearance and kit them out with equipment, accessories and weapons. There are hundreds of different weapons to use, including two-handed weapons, a shield and weapon combo, long thrusting pole-style weapons or even fighting unarmed.
