Boss Golf is a golf resort simulator that allows you to build challenging courses, manage staff, build facilities and host golf tournaments as you attempt to attract golfers from around the world (and even go golfing on the courses yourself!)
The gameplay of Boss Golf focuses on three main aspects – building golf courses, managing them and playing on them. There are multiple scenarios to play through (as well as ones you can create yourself) and to complete each one you need to create a successful golf course and fulfilling certain win conditions.
The build mode features various types of terrain, decorations, paths and buildings. You can build a course full of seaside cliffs or rolling green hills, and you can even create amenities such as swimming pools and tennis courses for your golfers to play in after a hard days golfing.
Building the courses is only part of the challenge though – you’ll also have to manage them. You can hire a variety of employees, including Marshalls, Landscapers, Builders and Janitors – but you’ll need to keep an eye on your expenditure, the board of directors won’t be happy with an unprofitable golf course!
To unwind after all that course building and managing you can also go out on your courses for a quick round of golf. You don’t actually have direct control of your golfer during the game, but instead you effectively act as the caddy, suggesting the club and shot to take (taking into account your stats and confidence) then watching on as your golfer hits their shots.
