Bottomless is a beautifully animated pixel art platformer where you use your rock-climbing skills to make short trips down a bottomless pit to retrieve parts of an ancient machine.
Created for the Godot Wild Jam, you start Bottomless at a base camp in Antarctica right next to a mysterious ancient machine and a bottomless pit. The missing parts for the machine are at various locations down in the pit, but you can only carry one at a time and you can only spend a short time down there due to the deadly spores. You need to use your mountain-climbing abilities to make multiple trips down the pit to retrieve the missing parts and get the machine running.
It’s a fun little game with beautiful pixel art scenery and excellent character animation as you make your way in and out of the pit. Your rock climbing skills are pretty handy – especially ability to shoot and climb ropes, and the flares come in handy as you descend deeper too. See if you can find all the parts and start the mysterious machine!
