BRINE is a brutal boomer shooter where mutated seafood has surged from the depths, claiming Cornwall’s coast, and one disgruntled fisherman fights back.
In BRINE, the ocean’s bounty is fighting back relentlessly. A disgruntled fisherman rises up to circle-strafe, kick, and blast through waves of crustacean cultists and piscine horrors. Forget military hardware – in this game you fight with what you find. Pin heads with a nail gun, unload pirate buckshot to clear crowds, or humiliate foes by literally battering them with a portable deep-fryer (deep fryer not in demo).
The demo features one level and is a ton of fun, with lots of shortcuts, easter-eggs and secrets to discover. There’s a nice amount of interactivity with the world and the explosions are especially satisfying. The resolution is low but the carnage is high and it’s got a great sense of humor. Highly recommended.
