BulletRage is an adrenaline-fuelled twin-stick run n’ gun arcade shooter where you dash, smash and blast your way through swarms of enemies in a futuristic Smash TV-esque game show.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta sign up, BulletRage is a wonderfully OTT twin-stick shooter with co-op play for up to 4 players, huge bosses and lots of ridiculously overpowered power-ups. It’s set in a future where Earth has been captured by an alien race and you must now fight your way through a twisted game show to ensure the continued existence of mankind.
The current build of BulletRage takes around 30 minutes to play through and has multiple difficulty levels and one large stage with a big boss fight at the end. There’s lots of secrets to discover and a wide selection of power-ups to collect that can really aid your cause. The action is relentless from start to finish, and it does a great job of filling the screen with bullets and baddies to keep the player on the back foot whilst always managing to make it feel possible to avoid damage.
BulletRage delivers a fantastic slice of old school arcade action that makes for an intense and thrilling bullet-hell bullet hell experience whilst still being easily accessible to mere mortals. A unashamedly over the top twin-stick shooter that’s perfect for a bit of good old-fashioned run n’ gun fun.
