Caliber is a SOCOM-esque multiplayer third-person military shooter from the creators of World of Tanks, which allows players to do battle in a variety of PvP and PvE modes where tactics and teamwork are key.
Currently in development by Wargaming (creators of World of Tanks, World of Warships & World of Warplanes), Caliber is a tactical, team-based multiplayer shooter that allows you to control special forces operatives from around the world in covert operations. It looks set to deliver SOCOM-esque tactical, close quarters combat in war-torn urban environments with a choice of four uniquely skilled character classes – Assault, Support, Medic and Marksman.
The gameplay footage does look a little generic at the moment, but it’s a sure bet that Wargaming can make a good multiplayer military combat game, so it’s certainly worth checking out. Sign up for the Beta to be one of the first to enter the fray.
