CAPTURED 2 is an anomaly hunting horror game where you’re trapped in an ever-changing apartment, capturing anomalies on camera while surviving deadly entities.
In CAPTURED 2, you play as Emily, a teenage girl who goes missing during unexplained disappearances and finds herself trapped in an endless hallway within her own apartment, slowly losing her memory. Strange anomalies appear throughout procedurally generated loops, and capturing them on camera reveals glimpses of her forgotten past.
Deadly entities taking the form of Emily’s childhood toys roam the halls to stop her from uncovering the truth. Use your flashlight, camera, and the doors around you to survive each entity’s unique mechanics. Inspired by analog horror and found footage films like Skinamarink, the game features a VHS 90s aesthetic, realistic graphics, and immersive camera movement capturing the eerie isolation of being home alone in the late 90s.
It’s an excellent take on the anomaly-hunting horror genre, with some clever twists, a fascinating lore and some very scary moments. Highly recommended.
