Carsteroids is a top down sci-fi shooter with roguelike elements, that sees drivers competing in a violent car-combat game show.
Playing a little like asteroids but with cars, Carsteroids sees you fighting for your life, money and fame in a futuristic game show set in an asteroid belt. The game features a single player story mode, an arcade mode and competitive multiplayer. There are side scrolling shoot ‘em up-esque sections and checkpoint collecting sections, but the main focus is on arena combat, with you attempting to survive against waves of enemies and big boss fights. It also promises lots of different weapons and power-ups to collect during matches, as well as lots of collectibles, unlockables and secret areas to discover.
