Cats on Mars is a very funny little pun-filled musical RPG that follows a space cat who attempts to win a dance competition on Mars.
Created for the Secret Santa Jam, Cats on Mars is a lighthearted little rhythm action RPG adventure about a dancing space cat. In the game you want to enter a dance competition that’s taking place on a feline-filled space station on Mars. However, first you’ll need to gather the correct attire – some dance shoes, a leotard and a fancy hat. Time to start searching!
The final two rhythm action sequences are infuriatingly hard, but other than that Cats on Mars is a delightful little game. The pixel art animation is excellent, the rhythm action gameplay is well implemented and it’s got a great sense of humor. The entire space station is packed full of great little gags and easter eggs that are guaranteed to make you smile as you prepare for your epic dance battle.
