Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! is a narrative-driven film noir detective adventure where a couple of hard-boiled chicken cops unravel a mystery in the insect underworld.
A sequel to the excellent original Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! follows the story of detectives Sonny and Marty as they embark on another tough case. As in the original, it takes place in Clawville, a place home to all kinds of shady anthropomorphic animals, but you’ll also enter a district that’s run by insects, as you follow up leads in your case.
Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! plays like a blend of visual novel and detective game, with you travelling to different locations, searching for clues and interrogating witnesses. The entire thing is voice acted by a stellar cast who really make the characters come to life. Meanwhile the art style is excellent (you can now even switch to Technicolor mode), and the writing does a great job of blending humor with classic film noir. All in all, it’s a clucking good sequel, filled with murder, humor and criminal critters!
