Children of the Eclipse is a Sci-Fi twin-stick shooter set in a utopian future where societies are driven by scientific research, rather than wealth or military strength.
Currently in development by Nutfarm Games (creators of Exploding Babies), Children of the Eclipse is an old school Sci-Fi FPS playable in single-player or online/local multiplayer. The game follows the story of two Synthesizers, whose job it is to discover scientific theories in the Fringe Zone, but when an advanced Flex-unit goes missing they have to break out the big guns and start blasting.
Children of the Eclipse promises a rich world filled with interesting characters and destructible environments, with structures exploding and fracturing in real-time. The two playable characters each have unique weapons and unlockable special features that allow for different play styles. They can even combine to form one super-powerful character where each player controls a gun.
