Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a melee combat-focused third person action RPG adventure set in a surreal alien world filled with strange creatures to beat up.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the Beta sign up, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a Sci-Fi fantasy action RPG from the creators of Rock of Ages and Zeno Clash. It’s a standalone adventure, but takes place in the same universe as Zeno Clash. It follows a creature who is a master of martial arts as he protects a small boy with mysterious powers from the Mistress of the Artifacts.
Melee combat is a major focus in Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, with you able to choose (and switch between) different fighting styles that allow for plenty of freedom to tackle the various strange creatures that inhabit the world. You can attack, dodge, block, counter, stun and use special attacks, and as you progress you’ll unlock new abilities. During fights you can also temporarily switch to a first person view to inflict some serious damage.
The vibrant and surreal world of Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a fascinating place to explore and it really feels like a living, breathing place. The combat is also very impressive, with a nice degree of freedom and flow as you pummel lots of strange looking creatures into the dirt!
