ClayTown Horror is a very creepy claymation styled first person horror game where you find yourself trapped in a cardboard dollhouse that’s home to murderous clay monstrosities.
In ClayTown Horror you are a lone visitor to a mysterious cardboard dollhouse. The reason for your visit can differ each time you play, but one thing is always the same – the dollhouse is creepy as hell! As you explore the house you’ll search for clues, solve puzzles and deal with the claymation monstrosities that come for you.
The current build of ClayTown Horror takes around 15 minutes to play through and really impresses with its atmosphere and visual design. The entire house looks like it’s been crafted from cardboard, matchsticks and other basic materials, and although the many candles do represent a fire hazard, the effect is fantastic.
It’s not just the visuals that impress too – the audio design is very eerie and the main puzzle in the demo is very inventive, making for a more cerebral experience than most horror games. It’s a very promising game that makes great use of its claymation visuals and cardboard dollhouse setting. Highly recommended.
