Coal Mining Simulator is a new first person simulation game that allows you to jump behind the wheel of all manner of heavy machinery as you try to bring all of that combustible fossil fuel from deep within the Earth to the surface.
In Coal Mining Simulator you’ll run your very own coal mining company, where you’ll be able to mine and sell coal, drive specialized heavy machinery, develop your mine and purchase new machines. You’ll be able to drill new tunnels and pathways through your mine as you search for rich seams of coal and even use explosives to get through stubborn rock formations. You’ll need to be careful though – mining is a dangerous job and you may end up dealing with earthquakes, cave-ins and gas explosions.
It’s clearly aiming at a niche target audience, but its coal mining simulation gameplay seems pretty authentic, with realistic mining techniques and plenty of detail. Sign up for the Beta to start mining that precious black fuel.
