Coming Home is a tricky mathematics based puzzler where you have to combine all the numbers and operators on screen to create the required value in the center of the screen.
Created for the Global Game Jam 2019, Coming Home tasks you with combining the various numbers and operators on the screen to form the required number in the center of the screen. The number in the center of the screen is never very large and would be easy to get if you only had to use a few of the on-screen elements, but you have to use them all, which makes things a whole lot harder.
As none of the numbers on screen are never very large, you don’t have to be particularly good at mathematics to succeed in Coming Home – it’s more of a logic puzzle that requires the same sort of mental ability as Sudoku. It’s a puzzle where you’re trying to figure out the correct order to combine the pieces and give you the right results.
It’s a very well made little puzzler with a chilled out atmosphere, a great visual style and a minimal UI that makes it very easy to pick up and play. The puzzles are very well designed and will really test your grey matter, while still not requiring you to be a mathematical genius. Highly recommended.
