Concluse 2 is a surreal and atmospheric retro styled first person survival horror adventure where you explore an eerie deserted town called “Hell” as you attempt to track down your missing wife.
Concluse 2 follows on from last year’s excellent Concluse and sees you searching for your missing wife who disappeared three years ago. You received an anonymous tip that has led you to a town called Hell, in the boondocks of New England. The town is deserted though, aside from the occasional weird supernatural entity and floating zombie monster!
The Concluse 2 demo build features a sizeable chunk of the game world and takes around 30 minutes to an hour to play through. It’s a little more accessible than the previous installment and contains a mixture of exploration, puzzle solving and combat. It retains the excellent grainy retro visual style of the original, and accompanied by the various surreal horrors you see and the excellent ambient audio, it helps to create a very deep sense of dread.
It’s a very unique horror game with a great sense of atmosphere and lots of surreal sights (and abominations of nature) hidden within its grim, grainy low rez world. Highly recommended.
