Crabmeat is a first-person point-and-click survival horror game where an indebted prisoner goes crabbing for huge Southern King Crabs to pay off their debt.
In Crabmeat you must collect your quota within 7 days or risk permanent expatriation for you and your family. You’ll navigate the harsh Antarctic waters in your government-issued crabbing vessel, baiting, placing, winching, and emptying traps to bring in precious hauls. The entire game is playable with only a mouse through a clever blend of first-person and point-and-click gameplay.
The demo takes about 30 minutes to play through and (once you get to grips with the control system), it’s a fantastic experience. There’s a lot of detail that’s gone into the crab fishing simulation mechanics and the creepy/monster stuff is done very well too. Highly recommended.
