Crowded is a fun new multiplayer party game that plans to make gaming with friends as easily accessible as possible, with no installation necessary, played via a single computer and controlled with players mobile phones.
Crowded’s approach to multiplayer gaming takes a leaf out of Jackbox’s book, but with more of a focus on fast paced arcade-stye gaming. Players just need to load up the game on a PC, Mac or Linux device then players join in and play the game by loading up a virtual control pad on the browser of their smart phone.
The games on offer in Crowded are visually fairly simple at the moment, but the ease of access and the way players can seamlessly drop in and drop out of the games is very impressive. Plus cutting edge visuals isn’t what makes a great party game experience – it’s who you play with (and how much beer has been consumed!)
