Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta sign up, in Crown Trick you enter a nightmarish labyrinthine dungeon that moves when you move. Movement and combat is turn-based but synchronous (so every-time you move your enemies move too), which gives you time to plan your strategies for dispatching your enemies and traversing the procedurally generated dungeons.
The planning time comes in handy too as your environment often presents some useful strategies – such as using electricity on a group of enemies standing in water or causing massive chains of explosions by setting fire to explosive barrels. As you make your way through the dungeons you’ll unlock a wide variety of active skills, passive abilities, items and relics that you can use to build a unique combat style.
