Dark Light: Survivor is a dark Sci-Fi roguelike shooter where you become one of humanity’s final Dark Hunters in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world.
In Dark Light: Survivor you board the Phantom Train – a marvel of celestial quantum technology traversing fractured universes in search of legendary Elysium. Each dimension harbors both vital energy to fuel your next jump and nightmarish creatures born from the Dark Void. The multiverse journey intensifies as increasingly powerful abominations test your combat skills across mystical forests and ruined civilizations.
Dark Light: Survivor allows you to switch between tactical top-down and immersive third-person perspectives, adapting to your playstyle (top-down is easier to play, but third person is a lot cooler). As in Surviors-likes, as you fend off the monster hordes you’ll collect and upgrade weapons and armor to face escalating threats.
It’s a fun and addictive take on the genre, with an interesting setting and plenty of upgrades to collect. Being able to switch perspectives is an especially great touch that instantly transforms the experience. Highly recommended.
