In Deadhand Theater you’ll strategize forming poker combinations from pairs to flushes, with each hand type carrying unique combat properties against enemies. You’ll collect and upgrade talismans across 60 options while applying 25 different sigils to modify card behaviors throughout varied stage types.
Desperate situations allow sacrificing body parts to change battle flow, though losing limbs permanently reduces their inherent strength. Challenging hexes and stage modifiers escalate difficulty in later encounters, with 45 hexes and 28 modifiers creating unpredictable scenarios. Future updates promise character selection, unique starting decks, and meta progression carrying improvements across runs.
The theatrical setting frames intense strategic decisions where deck refinement and talisman enhancement determine survival against increasingly hostile conditions.
