DEEPWARD is a brutal horror first-person shooter roguelite set in the 1920s where you assemble a squad and descend into a god-forsaken place where permanent death makes every decision feel genuinely costly.
In DEEPWARD each hero brings distinct weapons, abilities, a personal playstyle, and their own story to every run. You switch between them freely during combat to match the right fighter to each situation and keep your wounded companions alive as long as possible. Fights are fast, close-range, and relentless, built around shooting, kicking, slashing, and maintaining enough momentum to hold back the encroaching darkness.
The deeper you descend, the stranger and more oppressive the environments become, moving from cursed gothic interiors through caves, prisons, ritual chambers, and spaces that should not exist. Join in the playtest to go deep.
