Demon Quest is a sci-fi fantasy puzzle action platforming adventure where an explorer finds himself trapped in a strange world after discovering a mysterious artefact.
The gameplay and visual style of Demon Quest feel fondly reminiscent of Out of this World (aka Another World), and sees you using a mixture of stealth, platforming, experimentation and puzzle solving to make sense of the strange world you’ve been transported to. A big difference is the equipment you find though, such as a gravity bow and a blox sceptre, which can be used to aid your progress in creative ways.
It’s a very promising game with a great visual style and creative level design. Learning the ways of the world is particularly fascinating as you delve deeper into its stylish silhouetted land. Highly recommended.
