Dice of Arcana is an inscription and Buckshot Roulette inspired roguelite horror dice game, where players face off in duels to the death aboard a mysterious caravan.
In Dice of Arcana you sith within a horse-drawn carriage that’s controlled by a sinister puppet master. You must duel opponents in 1v1 dice matches where the loser may lose fingers or even their life. Players must strategically position miniatures across the game board while managing their dice hands, with victory determined by lane domination.
The game blends luck-based dice mechanics with tactical decision-making, as players collect special items and face the mysterious major arcana. Each round requires careful skill selection and resource management, while the oppressive atmosphere keeps tension high.
It could do with explaining the miniatures special abilities a bit more, but it’s a fun concept with a delightfully dark atmosphere. The interior of the carriage is well crafted and looks like it may contain interesting secrets in the full game. A dice-based horror roguelite well worth rolling with.
