Dieselpunk Wars is a physics-based vehicle building game that allows players to build all manner of land, sea or air based dieselpunk vehicles and do battle in a large sandbox world.
Playable in single-player or online multiplayer, the main sandbox mode in Dieselpunk Wars will allow players to explore a large open world, battle other constructions and complete missions to level up, unlock new skills and build more complex vehicles. Battle simulation mode allows players to create two armies of AI controlled vehicles and watch as they tear each other apart. Also, there’s a creative mode which gives players complete freedom to build whatever they like and spawn AI units to toy with.
You’ll be able to build your vehicles from over 180 unique pieces and modify it to be suitable for specific missions. There are lots of different weapons you can equip your vehicles with and each type of projectile has its own ballistics, ricochet and penetration physics. Dieselpunk Wars features an advanced vehicle destruction system, which allows vehicles to be destroyed piece-by-piece. Each destroyed component alters a vehicles combat capabilities and if their core block is destroyed then the whole vehicle will blow up.
Most vehicle building games tend to be multiplayer only affairs so it’s nice to see one with single-player elements too. It’s a great looking game that looks set to offer plenty of build and destroy sandbox fun. Sign up for the Beta to see what dieselpunk monstrosities you can build!
