Nippon Ichi Software have announced a Closed Beta Test for the classic (and wonderfully bizarre) tactical role playing game Disgaea 2 before it releases on Steam next year, with those that are selected for the Beta receiving a free copy of the game upon release!
Disgaea 2 is a PS2 classic that features deep tactical turn based strategy, tons of customization options, memorable characters and a thoroughly ridiculous story. Players can choose from over 200 character classes in their squad, have evilness rewarded with The Dark Court system, stack attacks, meet and recruit a variety of strange characters and enter the item world, the Dark World and the Land of Carnage.
The Steam release will also have an updated UI with mouse and keyboard support, Mac and Steam Machine compatibility, and three playable characters that were never released in the Western version of the original Disgaea 2 release (Dark Eclair, Gig and Miabel).
