Dispatch is a narrative-driven superhero workplace comedy from the creators of The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us.
In Dispatch, players step into the shoes of Robert Robertson (Mecha Man), whose destroyed mech-suit forces him into a desk job at a superhero dispatch center, managing reformed supervillains while secretly rebuilding his armor. As in the classic TellTale games, your decisions shape the narrative – from breakroom banter to field deployments.
You have a team of “reformed” supervillains to manage in field deployments. The strategic gameplay requires balancing team dynamics, office politics, and city emergencies. Each hero brings unique powers alongside personal baggage, demanding careful management to maintain team cohesion and effectiveness. As they progress they earn XP and level up, making them more useful in the field.
As well as excellent artwork and animation, Dispatch also has an impressive voice cast, including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Jacksepticeye, and Jeffrey Wright. It all makes for a highly polished experience that feels like you’re part of an animated superhero movie. Highly recommended.
