Android owners can now sign up for the Dragon Quest TACT Beta, to check out the mobile only Dragon Quest tactical RPG that’s already had over 10 million downloads in Japan.
Dragon Quest TACT is a tile-based tactical RPG set in the Dragon Quest universe where you befriend, collect and train monsters from the long-running series and command them in strategic battles. It’s coming to iOS and Android (though the Beta is Android only) and delivers a deep tactical RPG experience that’s easy to pick-up and play. There’s a wide variety of monsters to collect, of different rarities, and you’ll be able to train them, customize them and train them to become powerful allies.
If you’re a fan of the series then it’s certainly worth checking out as there will be plenty of familiar faces and the tactical RPG gameplay shows a lot of promise. It’s certainly popular in its home country anyway, with 10+ million downloads since its release in July. Sign up for the Beta for a chance to start training your team early.
