Dropping Into Work is a very funny little first person workplace adventure where you find many silly ways to die and fail at your job.
Created for the SCREAM LITE™ game jam by Caveware Digital (creators of the excellent Ghost Dance) in Dropping Into Work you take on the role of an employee of a corrupt business that holds very little value in human life. You turn up for your day’s work and are sent a message that says you have to go immediately to room 451 for an evaluation. That doesn’t sound good, but you don’t have to report to the room, in fact there are eight different endings depending on your actions.
Taking around 30 minutes to play through (if searching for all eight endings), Dropping Into Work is a hilarious little adventure that really impresses with its silly twists, dark humor and excellent voice acting. It’s a lot of fun poking around the workplace for different way you can die or commit career suicide and the soundtrack’s easy listening midi twist on classic pop songs is delightful too. Highly recommended.
