iOS and Android users can now sign up to Beta test Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, another remake of the classic fantasy RPG adventure.
You may think the world doesn’t need yet another Final Fantasy VII remake, but Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis looks set to deliver an interesting take on the 1997 classic. It promises an updated take on the Chibi-style of the original character models, beautifully rendered graphics and easily accessible gameplay to play on the go. It will also feature a mixture of classic and new stories, including being able to experience the journey of young Separoth.
Square Enix really are milking FFVII for all it’s worth, but it might be a good option if you’re looking for a version that’s more faithful to the original than the recent remake. Sign up for the Beta to beat up Separoth another time!
