Firefly Trials is a 3-player boss rush raidlike featuring fast-paced MMO-inspired battles against mythological beasts where you choose animal-inspired characters, theorycraft builds, and decode escalating mechanics from E-Rank to S-Rank.
In Firefly Trials you jump directly into five-minute boss fights without trash mobs or dungeon crawling, coordinating with teammates to master raid mechanics that evolve dramatically as you climb ranks. Defeated bosses drop powerful artifacts with unique trait combinations that unlock tiered set bonuses, potentially rewriting how your character plays entirely through synergistic builds mixing different set pieces. Each character fits tank, healer, or DPS roles with deep rotations and high skill ceilings, from rhino bruisers protecting allies to hummingbird fencers converting harvested flowers into burst damage.
Weekly competitive circuits change which beasts appear in which arenas, transforming encounters into fresh puzzles while seasonal resets introduce new bosses, characters, and artifact pools. Sign up for the playtest for some trial by fire.
