Fortnite Battle Royale – Beta Sign Up (Android)

Android owners are finally getting in on some Fortnite Battle Royale action, with players able to sign up for the Beta and Samsung Galaxy owners able to download and play right now!

Previously only available on every other gaming system on the planet, Android owners are finally getting to join in the Fortnite Battle Royale fun. It’s taken less than a year from going from a PUBG knock off to the biggest game in the planet and now Android owners will be able to play it wherever they go.

Initially the Fortnite Battle Royale Beta will only work on a set list of devices which are named on the FAQ page (there’s quite a lot of devices on the list though so as long as your device isn’t too old then you’ll probably be okay). By default it will feature cross-play between iOS and Android devices, but you will be able to play against PC/Console players too is you fancy getting your ass kicked. At the moment there is no support for rooted devices, bluetooth controllers or mouse and keyboards so everyone should be on a reasonably level playing field.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8 Plus, Note 8, S9, or S9 Plus you’ll be able to download the Beta immediately. It will be coming to the other Android devices on August 12th, with players being granted access in waves. Grab your phone and sign up now, we’ll see you on the battlefield!
