Forza Polpo! is a delightfully quirky new anime styled first person action platforming shooter where you pilot a cute little octopus robot and blast robots in a Japanese city that’s frozen in time.
Drawing inspiration from 90’s classics like Jumping Flash! and Pilot Wings, Forza Polpo! takes place in the year 199X, where time is frozen in place and 99.9% of the world’s population has disappeared. It features a mixture of platforming, flying and first person shooter gameplay, with aesthetics and a wonderfully quirky story inspired by 90s video games and anime.
The catastrophe that’s been unleashed on the world is all the doing of the nefarious Dr. Prometheus and his experimentation with Pink Energy. You take on the role of one of the few survivors of the disaster and must pilot Polpo, a flying delivery robot, as you take on Dr. Prometheus’ minions, recover memory cubes and save the world. Your robot is agile and has some decent firepower, but it’s also small so you’ll have to be careful, even gusts of wind can knock your off course.
