Furquest is a WarioWare and Undertale inspired RPG adventure where darkness lurks beneath it’s wholesome looking world and there are two sides to every soul.
In Furquest you are an introverted kid who finds a mysterious game cartridge that falls from the sky. After taking it home and plugging it into your game system you find that it’s an RPG adventure about a cute little dog and a friendly yellow bunny. As you explore you meet new characters, solve puzzles and battle enemies in WarioWare-esque microgames. At first glance it’s an innocent looking RPG adventure, but much like Undertale, there’s something else going on below the surface.
The Furquest demo build takes around 45 minutes to play through and really impresses with its charming pixel art visuals, quirky characters and offbeat humor. It’s got a very playful and interesting game world that rewards experimentation with lots of surprises and fun little easter eggs. It clearly is inspired by Undertale, but it’s no fan game – it has its own vibe and lots of inventive ideas that make for a very entertaining adventure. Highly recommended.
