Godhood is a god sim where you create your own religion, nurture and guide your followers and vie for power in ritual combat where the winner converts the rival’s followers to their cause.
In Godhood you take on the role of a newly born god who must create and grow their own religion in an ancient tribal land. As it’s your religion you must decide the beliefs it’s founded on, selecting its virtues and vices, as well as the rituals your followers must perform to worship you.
You don’t have direct control of your followers of devoted disciples, but you can guide them, As in other god sims you must guide your followers to help build their society – the more prosperous they are the more potential followers you’ll have. However, you can also gain followers via special ritual combat events which sees your disciples attempting to defeat rival religion’s disciples by using awe, persuasion or brute force.
