Going Medieval is a colony building simulation game where you attempt to rebuild a civilization that’s been decimated by a plague that wiped out 95% of humanity.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer last year, in Going Medieval you will design, build and manage your own medieval settlement to keep your citizens happy, prosperous and safe. It takes place after a plague wiped out 95% of the global population at the end of the 14th Century. Many died and the land was reclaimed by nature, but now some survivors are attempting to rebuild.
In the game you’ll be able to build a wide variety of different structures, from small wooden shacks to massive, multi-tiered forts. Your colonists each have their own histories, wants, personalities and behaviour. You’ll need to keep them fed and happy, and you’ll also need to keep them safe from waves of raiders who are keen to pillage your settlement.
It’s a great looking game that looks set to offer a colony building experience where you can really get invested in your colonists’ wellbeing. The Beta is due to start on Feb 22nd but the sign up closes on the 18th (tomorrow), so sign up now to go medieval!
