Gundam Versus is a very cool looking PS4 exclusive multiplayer combat game based on the Gundam series from Bandai Namco in which players take control of their own Gundam suits and take part in epic mech mangling battles.
There’s not much info on Gundam Versus available yet, but it’s the fifth instalment of the Gundam Vs series, that will continue the series’s 2v2 multiplayer combat format and up the ante with vastly improved visuals and more detailed environmental destruction. The fast paced spectacle-filled combat looks like a lot of fun and the visuals and OTT weaponry certainly seem to capture the feel of the series.
The Beta will allow players to commandeer 20 different Gundam suits in 4 different game modes and will take place between 19:00 JST and 22:00 JST on March 10th, 18th and 19th. Bandai Namco does plan to release Gundam Versus worldwide, but the current Beta Test is scheduled for Japan only, which means you’ll have to set up a Japanese PSN account if you want to take part.
