Guts ‘N Goals is a fast paced arcade football game where you don’t just try to beat your rivals score, you also spend a lot of the time beating them up with a variety of melee weapons too!
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer a year ago, Guts ‘N Goals blends football with beat ‘em up gameplay in a comically violent multiplayer ball-sport. There are no penalties for player-on-player violence in this game (in fact it’s encouraged) and you don’t even kick the ball with your feet – instead you whack it with your weapons. It features over 20 playable characters, each with their own unique skills, and there are a variety of differently themed venues and ball types (so you can bat a beach ball around a beach and slap a hockey puck around an ice rink).
It’s a fun looking game that should offer plenty of multiplayer hilarity as players beat the crap out of each other (and occasionally go for the ball). The next Beta test is due to take place between the 10th of July and the 12th of July, so sign up now to be there for kick-off.
