Hand-to-Hand Wizardry is a first-person dark fantasy boomer shooter where you you use litteral hand-guns.
In Hand-to-Hand Wizardry you play as Zoltan, an egotistical wizard who willingly sacrifices his hands to descend into a dungeon for a chance to have “everything”. This twisted setup forces you to graft dead wizards’ hands onto your severed wrists to gain powerful spells and eviscerate hordes of dungeon creatures. Each set of severed hands you collect brings distinct spells for tearing through enemies, and there are also some handy upgrades too.
Taking around 30 minutes to play through, it’s a great little FPS with a fun premise and excellent FMV hand-gun animation. It’s a very playful twist on the traditional boomer shooter, packed full of charm and personality. Highly recommended.
